Another concert and gifts!

Last night was Jess' end of school year concert and also an end of an era for some of them, their last ever concert at primary school.
One again, this choir was fantastic, better than fantastic. They appeared much more relaxed this time which made for much better singing.
Of course, the excitement of the holidays looming helps aswell, just look at these girls

Totally hyped up

Of course going back to continue Jess best friends birthday celebrations was helping towards the excitement. This is the young girl who loves to root through my supplies to see what she can make so I came up with the perfect present for her.

I just filled a file box with her own supplies and I also made her a little note/scrapbook

She was thrilled with it all which makes it so worth while. I also made her a card with piccies of the best friends on

It wasn't only the birthday girl who received gifts yesterday, my children and I were also very fortunate to receive some beautiful gifts from the gorgeous Rosey.

Rosey wasn't going to participate in the F.R.I.E.N.D.S but then we decided to do one between ourselves and involve the children.

Everything was very cleverly labelled

but unfortunately in our haste and excitement to open the pressies, i've forgotten which label goes with what gift.

There was some beautiful needlework for each of us

For the little man..................

along with a dinosaur playset which is at this moment and time scattered around my lounge and lots of sweeties and chocolate.

For Jess, some scrapbooking supplies, beads and a cute little mirror

there was also some lip balms which I think have snuck into school with her.

Another kimmi doll for her collection

which made her squeal.

For moi, there was some lovely FQs and threads and CK hand cream and lip balm

Thank you so much Rosey, Lili, Mia and Claudia for such lovely gifts. Rosey, you are a very special bloggy friend.

There was one more very special gift for me along with a card with some beautiful words in, anyone who has followed my blog for a while will get the meaning behind this. It certainly bought a few tears to my eyes

Which brings me to a recent CS find

I couldn't believe my luck when there was 2 of them, one each for my Angel babies!

((hugs))

Your DD looks as if she is having a high old time. Gearing up for those summer hols. Cant wait for them. Lala still has next week to go yet. Roll on next friday! lol.
