Art work from all the schools on display all around our town.
Friday was the grand finale, choirs from 2 primary schools and the comprehensive gave us a concert in the town square
They sang a mixture of African songs and they ROCKED! They were fantastic and yes my gorgeous daughter sang her heart out.
I think every parent there was glowing with pride!
I am now in possession of the promised doll from my Mum
The outfit was made by my Mum when she was 12 years old, i'd like to clean her up and replace the outfit but not sure my sewing skills are up to it.
There should of been 2 of them but Mum discovered a large crack in the back of the other ones head so I thought it better she stayed put.
Is there still such a thing as Dolly hospitals?
She's 60 years old and doing pretty good I think
Isn't she gorgeous? Only problem is, she doesn't have a name. Any suggestions will be greatly received!
We've also been thinking of names for something else. On Friday we will be welcoming a new member to our family.
I thought I would make this into a little game, the first person who guesses correctly who or what this may be, I will send a little gift to.
Did you know that Wizard of Oz will be celebrating it's 70th anniversary this year?
I'll be taking part in the Wizard of Oz gala organised by Two Crazy Crafters

click on the piccie on my sidebar to find out more.
Take care
((hugs))

What fun the Arts Festival must have been, and yay for your daughter for doing so well. She's a cutie-pie!!!
Ok, guessing on the new addition to the household, the obvious would be a dog or a cat, but I'm not guessing those, I'm guessing a mouse or a gerbil. :) Hope you're having a lovely weekend.

Oh, Jess is so cute...I am sure she did a fantastic job. I have been doing a little shopping for her. I found knee socks with music notes all over them. I hope she like them. I bought you 4 colors of trim and hope to head to Hobby Lobby this week. So many deadlines this week. I am going to be up all night for the next few days. Let me know if Jess wants anything else from America before I close up the box. Kara
Hi!
It could be a rabbit...
What a fun event! Your daughter is so cute! Maybe you'll be welcoming a puppy or a Blythe soon? The only name suggestion I have for your doll is Ginger cause she looks all beat up like one (ha,ha) and her outfit is a ginger color. Have a great week!
