Happy Easter!

Good Friday means one thing in our house................ potato planting!
Rich grows his own veg on his Grandparents land and it's become a bit of a tradition that he and Jess plant the potatos together on Good Friday. I had planned for the little man and myself to tag along today but as he was poorly again last night that didn't happen.

My fun began this afternoon!
Jess and I shut ourselves in the kitchen, 'Ting Tings' on the CD player and got on with some baking and crafting.

Chocolate cornflake cakes in the making

Mmmm yummy

Then there was the Easter cake made by Mummy decorated by Jess

Somewhere in between little chicks were made and eggs decorated with food colouring and glitter

It really has been lovely to spend so much time with Jess today.
Tomorrow we're off to an Easter fun day at the church and then on Sunday after the children have found what the Easter bunny has left them, Jess is off to the seaside somewhere with her Dad.

Reading Rosey's (agapanthas & goldsworthy) blog this morning, I really liked the idea of this

Looks like you had fun with your little helper. :) It looks like you and your family are going to have a fantastic Easter.

I'll have to tell the girls about the fairies in the garden. They will more than likely go looking for some in ours. :)
